The school boasts of a large lab for community health nursing and nutrition. This contains all required articles needed for practicing nursing procedures in a community set-up. The lab has facilities for imparting basic knowledge of various methods of cooking for the healthy as well as for the sick. The furnishing and equipment include a marble top work area, cooking cutlery, trays, plates, dietetic scales, cooking utensils, microwave, racks/ shelves, refrigerator, pressure cookers, mixie and cupboards for storage of food items and gas connection. The food items are purchased for the conduct of practical classes as and when required. Sets of crockery and cutlery for preparation, napkins for serving and display of food are available.


In addition a separate area has been constructed to impart community nursing training to the students in rural set up.
